I have just returned from the most incredible and life affirming four day trek with Mitiku Dessie in the Simien mountains.
From the moment we met in Debark I knew I was in good hands. Throughout our time together he always made sure I was well looked after. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and an expert and experienced guide having grown up in the mountains. Doing a trip like this is extraordinary, challenging and rewarding. Having a guide like Mitiku makes it especially special, galvanising our time like family. I can’t wait to do it again!
